New Shed

Being built on the ground
On the pad Dale graded a couple of weeks ago at Males, the shed was made on site by contractors then erected by 2 Cranes yesterday. One Crane came from Esperance the other from Albany. The shed is 42 x 21 x 7 metres. It was very impressive to see how it all came about. It worked out the guys had to change paddocks at the time it was
going to be erected,so they
stopped to watch.

Seeding

Seeding At Males
Since the rain, the guys have been seeding 24/7. They have finished seeding at Mark & Liv's and Wayne & Chris's farms, their seeding between Gary & Karina's and Males now. Dale is driving the Case 440, sharing with Jan, this year towing a Simplicity Seeder with a 62 foot Flexi Coil Bar. This year both the seeders are the same. The 440 is the one on the right in the photo. Before the guys can seed, either Wayne or Marco go around spraying the weeds to kill them, the spray unit is 120 foot wide.

The Rains Came

The Rains Came
Monday of this week we got 5ml at all the farms except Mark & Liv's. The guys finished seeding the Canola down at Mungi yesterday morning then moved the gear to Wayne & Chris's. On the way it started raining so the guys spend the afternoon doing maintenance on the seeders & tractors. The rain kept up most of the night, all the farms got some, at Wayne & Chris's we got 25 ml. We didn't do any seeding today but we will get back into it tomorrow.

                                       A DAY FISHING

Tuesday the day before Anzac Day, Wayne & Dale spend the day fishing on a boat that Landmark had hired for the day. They were out on the water for 9 hours, Dale got a little green, but still enjoyed the day, between all the guys that went, they got 35 fish, the main one was Red Snapper, Wayne caught a Octopus.
