April 15th, 2012

G'day all, hope you all had a great Easter, we stayed at the farm & looked after the dogs as everyone else went away & we planed to have a quiet one. It turn out to be extra quiet as we had no phone range.
Out with the Old Seeder

The Monday before Easter 3 Danish Guys, Liam, Jan & Mads arrived to work for the seeding. Wayne & Dale took the old seeder to Esperance & picked up a new one, so this season both the seeders will be the same (62 foot wide). This week the crew seeded some Vetch at Mark's for sheep feed & some Lupins & Canola at Stanbray.
We have today off and the bosses have decided to stop the seeding until we get some rain.

Wool Classing Day

Mark arranged a wool Classing Day at Males for the local sheep breeders to attend. They had 3 shearers working & a Wool Classer. The day is held for the breeders to compare their wool & to make sure their doing things right to get the best quality wool.
